Got Bad credit ? Mortgage lenders who provide credit for people with Bad credit ?

There are 2 types of companies who provide credit -

1- Banks - high street banks such as Barclays, Alliance and Leicester, Nationwide, Natwest etc.

2-independent security credit companies.

The independent security companies often provide loans and mortgages for people with bad credit, CCJs ( country court judgments) and other defaults.

This is handy for people who have trouble obtaining credit from the banks, they can try these companies.

But there is a catch, like always..

They are more strict with late payments. For example if you make a late payment for your mortgage with these companies they can reposes your house, where as the banks might consider giving you more time to make the payment, and would be less lenient.

Tip -

Don't go to loads of mortgage or loan companies requesting credit as this shows up as a 'check' or footprint on your credit report. A lot of these footprints can affect your credit score greatly
